While growing up on the West Coast, my mother scrimped and saved to provide me with a Magical first trip to Disneyland when I was in grade school That trip is a core memory to this day. Unaware at the time that she had to forgo the Captain EO sweatshirt she really wanted (be kind, it was the 80’s) to buy me the plushy I could not live without…my love of Disney and the joy it creates is real and runs deep. I have been an avid RunDisney participant since 2007, running races with my amazing marathon-running momma on both coasts ever since.

I find an unbelievable amount of joy out of planning Disney magic, even when I don’t get to experience the trip firsthand. Disney is joy…and I love being involved in that bubble.

I have extensive knowledge with Disney and Universal Parks on both coasts, as my home-base is on the Westcoast and my in-laws are in Florida. I did my graduate work at the University of Florida and could not help but sneak park days into every trip back while defending my Master’s research.

I have experienced Disney on frequent solo visits, visits with a “non-Disney-loving” partner, and with children. I’ve experienced more than 20 RunDisney events and am well-versed in all aspects of these wonderful events. I understand that Disney can be complicated to navigate if you don’t know all the ins and outs, and time-consuming even when you do.
