Christine’s love of all things Disney began at the early age of 3. She and her father went to Walt Disney World in Florida every year. With family in the Anaheim area, a trip to Disneyland was also a common vacation. As Christine got older she knew this was much more than her dad planning her vacations for her, it was the only place she wanted to go. Although they did venture on a cruise to Alaska, and a weeklong trip to Iceland, as well as countless other trips, it’s the ones that involved that loveable mouse Mickey that Christine treasured the most. No matter how old she got, Christine enjoyed their time together in the most magical place on earth. When it came time to plan her honeymoon, Christine let her husband decide where they would travel…as long as a Disney location was on the itinerary. So they toured the PCH in California, with a stop at the Disneyland Hotel.

As a parent, one of Christine’s first dreams was to take her kids to Walt Disney World. And it was there that her oldest son became the biggest fan of all things Star Wars. Christine has stayed in many of the resorts in Walt Disney World as well as Disneyland. She also became one of the first Disney Vacation Club members (Disney’s version of the timeshare) when it was offered. What she also has is a unique perspective to traveling through theme parks and such with a special needs child. Christine has navigated the airports as well as Walt Disney World and has learned something new every time she visits, and she would love to share her tips with those in need of that information. Currently Christine resides in Warren County, NJ with her husband and two boys (8 & 10), and when not busy booking fabulous vacations for her clients, is a substitute teacher in her children’s school.

I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Christine Johnson Rush. We were to fly out of Toronto today but a major snowstorm was forecasted so the airline offered to change our flight to a day earlier; we took it! But that left us without a hotel for Monday night. There was no availability showing online at Coronado Springs, so I called Disney. They confirmed there were no rooms available. I went onto a Facebook group page in search of a travel agent for some last minute assistance. Around 4:30 pm on Sunday I messaged Christine and she immediately responded. We had never met before. Participating in the Disney Princess Marathon in February was the culmination of a year long journey. The trip to Disney was a celebration of that journey and healthy changes that I made in my life. When it was time to book my trip to Disney I didn’t hesitate to call upon Christine to help me prepare for the momentous trip for me and my daughter, mother and sister.
