Rooms accommodate up to  five guests, plus one child under the age of 3 in a crib. Typical room is 381 to 400 square feet. The 583 guest rooms at the Beach Club are finished in a beach decor.  The 630 guest rooms at the Yacht Club are designed with a classical nautical motif.  Connecting rooms available by request only.

• Children's Programs- The Sandcastle Club is a supervised program for kids ages 4 through 12.  It's open from 4:30pm to midnight; the cost is $8.00 per hour for each child, there is a 4 hour maximum, reservations are required. Toys, videos, games, and computers are available. Dinner is included between the hours of 6pm and 8pm.

• Swimming-  Between the marina and the beach is the centerpiece of both resorts--Stormalong Bay, it is a 3acre pool which is really more like a mini water park.   Lazy lagoon lets you float peacefully around.  There are several whirlpools throughout the area.  Along the main pool there is a shipwreck that serves as water slide. There are quite pools and whirlpools located at the far end of each hotel.  

• Arcade- Lafferty Place Arcade has about 60 games and pinball machines. The arcade is located in a central area.

• Playground- A small play ground is located by the pool.

• Full Service Restaurants-  Cape May Cafe- offers Breakfast buffet with Beach Club Goofy and his friends. An indoor clambake buffet is held every night, featuring clams, mussels, beef-ribs, chicken, and one of the best dessert buffets in Disney World. Yacht Club Galley- features a great breakfast buffet each morning.  Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner  are available from an a la carte menu.  Yachtsman Steakhouse- Select cuts of aged beef are the specialty here.  Seafood and poultry are also offered.

• Snack Bars- Hurricane Hanna's Grill- Burgers, hot dogs, sausages and other snacks are served near the pool area.  A full bar is located here and poolside beverage service is available.  Beaches & Cream Soda Shop-  A classic American soda fountain where you can get great shakes, malts and sundaes. Soda Shop is located between the Yacht and the Beach Clubs.

• Lounges-  Ale and Compass located in the Yacht Club lobby features specialty coffees and drinks . Crew's Cup- offers an assortment of beers shipped in from the world's seaports . Martha's Vineyard-  this quite lounge at the Beach Club offers selections form American and international vineyards.  Rip Tide-  This Beach Club lobby lounge offers a variety of Californian wines, wine coolers, and frosty concoctions, beer and other cocktails.

• Merchandise shops- Fittings & Fairings Clothes and Notions is located at the Yacht Club offering nautical fashions, character merchandise, and sundries.  At the Beach Club, Atlantic Wear and Wardrobe Emporium features a similar selection of goods.

• Health Club-  Ship Shape Health Club features exercise machines, sauna, whirlpool, steam room and massage (by appointment). The health club  is open to all WDW guests over the age of 13.
