Rooms accommodate four guests, plus one child under the age of 3 in a crib. Rooms in the Alligator Bayou can accommodate an additional child in a trundle bed.. Typical room is 314 square feet. There are 2, 048 Mansion and Bayou guestrooms.  963 of the Bayou rooms have a trundle bed 54" long (sleeps one child). The Magnolia Bend Mansion rooms are decorated with tapestries and cherry wood furniture and are situated in sprawling, elegant manor homes with large columns and grand staircases.  The Alligator Bayou rooms are situated in rustic, weathered wood buildings that are landscaped by trees and bushes native to the area.  All buildings have 2 and 3 floors but only the Magnolia Bend Mansions have elevators.

• Swimming- The main pool is the 3½ acre Ol' Man Island- an old-time water hole with waterslide, kiddie pool, and there are 5 quite pools set throughout the resort.  Guests may also swim at Doubloon Lagoon water recreation area at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter.

• Food court-  The Riverside Mill has five counter service stands offering different choices. Traditional breakfast items are available, along with baked goods, pasta, deli sandwiches, burgers, pizza, chicken and ribs for lunch and dinner.

• Table Service Restaurant-  Boatwright's Dining Hall seats 200 and serves Cajun specialties and American cuisine for dinner.  Breakfast is also served.

• Pizza delivery- from 4 p.m. to midnight.

• Pool bar-  Muddy Rivers serves specialty and traditional drinks, plus hot dogs, popcorn and ice cream during pool hours.

• Lounge- River Roost has specialty drinks, light hors d'oeuvres and live entertainment.

• Merchandise shop-  Fulton's General Store has Disney character merchandise, groceries, clothing and sundries. 

• Coin operated laundry facilities and valet service.
