Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground offer the beauty
of the pioneer days with log cabins and the back to nature
experiences with campsite accommodations. Tucked away in a quite
forest escape to the rustic surroundings that the Resort has to
offer. The activities at the Resort are plenty and there is no
better way to experience the great outdoors then with Disney
amenities. Home of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue Dinner Show,
River Country Water Park and the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. While you
are there see if you can find the Lawn Mower Tree; somehow a
tree mysteriously grew around a lawnmower!

Cabins accommodate up to six guests,
plus one child under the age of 3 in a crib.
The Cabins are 504 square feet. There are 408 rustic cabins with
all the modern conveniences of home.

Each
cabin is shaded by a pine canopy. No extra camping equipment is
permitted; all guests must be accommodated in the cabin.
Non-smoking and disabled-accessible rooms are available. All
Walt Disney WorldŽ Resort Hotels
offer rooms equipped for guests with disabilities: wide
doorways, additional handrails and special bathrooms.
The Campsites allow for occupancy for up to ten people.
There are 784 Campsites that can accommodate travel trailers,
mobile homes and tents.

Type of Campsites:
Preferred Full-Hookup Sites: Include electric hookups
(30/50amp), water, sanitary disposal and cable television. These
sites are closest to the beach, The Settlement Trading Post, and
Pioneer Hall.
Full Hookup Sites: Include electric hookups (30/50amp),
water, sanitary disposal.
Partial Hookup Sites: Include electric hookups (30/50amp)
and water only.
All
Campsites feature a paved driveway pad, picnic table, and
charcoal grill. Each site has room for one car in addition to
the camping vehicle. Other cars can be parked in the main
parking lot.
The
various campground areas are designated by loop numbers. Most
loops have at least one air-conditioned comfort station equipped
with restrooms, private showers, an ice machine, phones and
laundry room. There are loops that provide for a more private
and quite atmosphere. Pet loops available at an additional
nightly charge of $3.00 per night.

a sing along and cartoons. Chip and Dale often make an

Hayrides- two departures per evening 7pm and 9:30pm
takes guests through the wooded areas near Bay Lake. Rides
lasts about an hour. $6.00 per adult and $4.00 per child

Petting Farm- home to goats, sheep , rabbits, chickens
and other barnyard critters.

Pony Rides- offered seasonally between 10am and 5pm,
$2.00 per ride

Trail Rides- Guided horseback rides depart 4 times a
day, galloping is not part of the ride so no experience in
riding is necessary. No children under 9 yrs of age, cost is
$23.00 per person.

Full Service Restaurant-
Trails End Restaurant serves
breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet-style.

Snack Bars- The Chuck Wagon snack bar is open during
the Campfire Program and the Meadows Snack Bar is open
seasonally at the Meadows Pool.

Crockett's Tavern is a full service lounge with appetizers

Merchandise shops- Meadows Trading Post and
Settlement Trading Post have groceries, movie rentals,
sundries and Disney souvenirs.

Groceries- supplies are available at the Meadow Trading
Post and the Settlement Trading Post. There is also Goodings
supermarket located a the Crossroads of Lake Buena Vista.

Hoop-de-Doo Musical Revue, Horse Barn featuring working
blacksmith shop.
